Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
This year starts my 22nd school year in Hillsborough County but will be my first year as the principal of Morgan Woods Elementary. While I am just beginning my journey here, I am deeply committed to working alongside our students, staff, and families to shape what it will become. Together, as Tigers, we will build a school culture grounded in excellence, strong relationships, and a shared vision for every child to grow, achieve, and thrive.

YMCA Full-Day Preschool Program
With Free VPK (Age 4 by Sept. 1)
The YMCA offers a workday preschool
program with Voluntary Prekindergarten
(VPK) at Morgan Woods Elementary:
• Full-day preschool: 7:40 a.m.-6 p.m.
• FREE breakfast, lunch, and snack
• Bilingual teachers
• School Readiness accepted to
significantly reduce costs
